Game Preview: Raptors 905 vs. Salt Lake City Stars

All good things must come to an end. The Raptors 905 had their nine-game win streak snapped in Wednesday’s 128-122 loss to the Santa Cruz Warriors. The 905 will look to get back to their winning ways tonight when they visit the Salt Lake City Stars in the last game of their five-game road trip. Salt Lake City has lost four their last five games after Wednesday’s 116-105 loss to Fort Wayne.

Big man, creating big problems: Raptors 905 forward CJ Leslie had another strong showing up front against Santa Cruz, posting 19 points and adding 12 boards.

Getting back to their winning ways: In last games loss, the Raptors 905 surrendered a season high 128 points. The 905 are the only team in the D-league to average less than 100 points against per game. Good news for the 905, as the Stars average the least amount of points per game in the entire D-League with just 99.4 points per game.

Staying positive: The 905 boast a league best 6.7-point differential. This matches up well against Salt Lake City, who are outscored by an average of 5.4 points per game.

Back from the show: After finishing his 10-day contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, Axel Toupane made his return to the 905, pouring in 20 points and adding six assists in 28 minutes of action.
