Raptors 905, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced Tuesday it has acquired guard John Jordan from the Erie BayHawks in exchange for the returning player rights to forward Luke Harangody, subject to successful completion of physical.
Jordan, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, has split the 2015-16 season between the BayHawks and Delaware 87ers. In 18 NBA D-League games this season, he is averaging 6.8 points, 2.7 assists, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 17.6 minutes. He was acquired by Erie on December 27 after being waived by Delaware on December 17.
Prior to turning pro, Jordan played four seasons at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2011-15), where he averaged 12.5 points, 5.2 assists, 4.1 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 34.5 minutes in 126 games.
Harangody’s returning player rights were acquired by Raptors 905 in the 2015 NBA D-League Expansion Draft.
