Raptors 905 announced Monday they have acquired forward JJ Moore and the fourth overall pick in the 2019 NBA G League Draft in a three-team trade with the Long Island Nets and Windy City Bulls. The 905 acquired Moore from Long Island and the fourth overall selection from Windy City. The Nets received the returning rights of forward Deng Adel from the 905 and the rights to JaKarr Sampson from Windy City, while the Bulls obtained the rights to Milton Doyle from Long Island. The trade is not subject to physicals.
Moore, 6-foot-6, 224 pounds, played 19 games with Atenas (Argentina) last season, averaging 7.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in 16.9 minutes. A native of Brentwood, New York, he spent two seasons with Long Island (2016-18). In 92 games (24 starts) with the Nets, he averaged 10.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in 21.2 minutes.
The 2019 NBA G League Draft takes place on Saturday, Oct. 26. The fourth overall selection is the highest draft position in Raptors 905 history.
