RAPTORS 905 ACQUIRE GRAVETT FROM AVAILABLE PLAYER POOL

Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced Monday the team has acquired guard Hassani Gravett from the available player pool. The roster now stands at 12.


Gravett, 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, began his professional career with the Lakeland Magic in 2019, appearing 42 games (28 starts) while averaging 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. In 2020, Gravett signed with MZT Skopje of the Macedonian League. In 20 games (15 starts) he posted 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 steals in 26.7 minutes, helping lead the team to the Macedonian Cup and Macedonian League Championship.


Gravett returned to Lakeland in 2021, posting season averages of 13.8 points,
4.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, earning a 10-day contract from the Orland Magic on December 17th, and a second one on December 28th. In eight games (three starts) with the Magic, he put up 6.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 21.5 minutes per game.

Prior to his professional career, Gravett appeared in 109 career games (42 starts) over three seasons at the University of South Carolina (2016-19) and one season at the University of Pensacola (2015-16). As a senior, he averaged a career best 11.4 points (.418 FG%), 3.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 29.6 minutes for the
Gamecocks. A native of Douglasville, GA, Gravette was named SEC Sixth Man of the Year in the 2018-19 season.
