RAPTORS 905 ACQUIRE JEFFRIES FROM RIP CITY REMIX

Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced Saturday the team has acquired guard Drake Jeffries in a trade with the Rip City Remix. The 905 sent its second-round pick in the 2024 G League Draft to Rip City in the trade.
Jeffries, 6-foot-5, 186 pounds, began his professional career with the Lakeland Magic in 2022-23, appearing in 43 games (five starts) while averaging 7.0 points and 2.1 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game. He shot 38.6% from three that season on 5.2 attempts per game.
Prior to his professional career, Jeffries appeared in 124 career games (73 starts) over one season at Minot State University (2017-18), Indian Hills Community College (2019-20), and two seasons at the University of Wyoming (2020-22). As a senior, he averaged 10.3 points (.414 FG, .409 3FG, .811 FT) and 4.9 rebounds in 29.6 minutes for the Cowboys, both career-highs.
Jeffries is expected to make his Raptors 905 debut at the NBA G League Winter Showcase in Orlando, FL this week. Schedule to be released at a later date.
