RAPTORS 905 ADDS EPPS

Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced today the team has added forward/centre Aaron Epps. The 905 acquired the returning rights to Epps in a trade with the Cleveland Charge on January 5, 2022. In a corresponding move, the team has waived guard Obadiah Noel.
Epps, 6-foot-10, 225 pounds, has five years of professional experience, including three seasons in the NBA G League. He most recently played for New Taipei CTBC DEA in Taiwan (2022) where he posted 17.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks over 14 games. Epps owns NBA G League career averages of 9.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in 22.4 minutes per game (.492 FG%, .370 3FG%, .788 FT%).
The Ball, LA native played 105 games (51 starts) across four seasons at Louisiana State University (2014-18).
In his final season as a Tiger, Epps averaged a career-best 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Epps was selected sixth overall by the Northern Arizona Suns in the 2018 NBA G League draft. He will wear number 21 for the Raptors 905.
Noel appeared in 22 regular season games (three starts) across two seasons for Raptors 905 (2021-22). The second-year guard has posted career averages of 6.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 17.2 minutes per game.
