Raptors 905 Select Kevon Harris and Gary Payton II in the 2021 NBA G League Draft.

Raptors 905, NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced today the selections of Kevon Harris and Gary Payton II in the 2021 NBA G League Draft.

Harris, picked 11th overall, appeared in 127 career games (104 starts) over four seasons at Stephen F. Austin (2016-2020), leaving as the school’s all-time leading NCAA Division I scorer with 1,833 points. In 31 games (all starts) as a senior, he averaged 17.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals in 29.3 minutes of action. A native of Ellenwood, GA, Harris was an All-Southland First Team selection and Southland Player of the Year last season.

Gary Payton II, selected 15th overall, has played in 61 NBA games over the last four seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Wizards.  In 2019-20, he averaged 3.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 29 games (17 starts) for the Wizards. He also played 18 games for the Capital City Go-Go (NBAG), averaging 20.2 points, 9.3 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 2.9 steals in 31.4 minutes. In 115 NBA G League games, across four teams, he has posted averages of 16.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.4 steals in 31.4 minutes.

The NBA G League will begin its 2021 season in February at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando. Further details about the league schedule and broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.
