SABEN LEE SIGNS TWO-WAY CONTRACT WITH PHOENIX SUNS

Lee Earns the Fifth NBA Call-Up for the Raptors 905

Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors announced Thursday that guard Saben Lee has signed a two-way contract with the Phoenix Suns. Lee had earned two 10-day contracts from the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 11 and Jan. 21.


Lee, 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, appeared in 10 games with the Phoenix Suns, averaging 7.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 17.3 minutes per game. He posted a season-high 15 points, three rebounds, and six assists in the Suns’ 117-112 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Jan. 19.

In 12 games (all starts) for the 905, the third-year guard averaged 19.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 2.3 steals in 34.5 minutes per contest. Lee received his first NBA call-up on Nov. 23 where he averaged 3.0 points and 1.0 assists in two games for the Philadelphia 76ers and 24.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.1 steals across eight games (all starts) for the Delaware Blue Coats.

Lee owns NBA career averages of 5.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists across 91 games (seven starts) for the Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers, and Phoenix Suns.

The Phoenix, AZ native spent three collegiate seasons at Vanderbilt (2017-20) where he averaged 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists across 32 games (17 starts) his final year.
