WINSLOW AND GUEYE SIGN 10-DAY CONTRACTS WITH TORONTO RAPTORS

First Raptors 905 Call-Up of the 2023/24 Season

Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors announced Saturday that forwards Justise Winslow and Mouhamadou Gueye have signed 10-day contracts with the Toronto Raptors.

Winslow, 6-foot-6, 222 pounds, averaged 16.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 26.8 minutes in 17 Showcase Cup and regular season games (11 starts) with Raptors 905 this season. He is shooting .514 (110-214) from the field and .625 (25-40) from the free throw line. The Houston, Texas native holds NBA career averages of 8.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists on .412 shooting in 344 games played with Miami, Memphis, Los Angeles Clippers, and Portland.

Winslow was drafted 10th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2015 NBA Draft following a lone season at Duke University. The former Blue Devil appeared in 39 games (all starts) averaging 12.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.3 steals. He shot .486 (173-356) from the field, .418 (46-110) at three-point range, and .641 (100-156) at the free throw line.

Gueye, 6-foot-9, 210 pounds, averaged 14.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 30.9 minutes in 28 Showcase Cup and regular season games (all starts) with Raptors 905 this season. He is shooting .559 (167-299) from the field. A native of Staten Island, New York, Gueye played two seasons at Stony Brook (2019-21) before transferring to Pittsburgh (2021-22) where he became the first player in Panthers history to lead the team in three-point field goals (43) and blocks (67) in the same season. Gueye owns collegiate averages of 8.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and 26.8 minutes in 86 career games (52 starts) shooting .436 (268-614) from the field, .347 (66-190) at three-point range and .734 (146-199) at the free throw line.

Winslow and Gueye become the team’s 20th and 21st NBA Call-Up.
